Custom machinery for bore, wall and take-up control.

Plastic Tubing Extrusion Line

Specify a plastic tubing extrusion line around the exact resin grade, bore, wall and delivery format. ARKPM connects preparation, extrusion, sizing, cooling and take-up so the machinery proposal addresses both dimensional requirements and finished-tube handling.

THE APPLICATION

Start with what
the line needs to do.

Tubing needs a product definition that follows it through cooling and collection. Inner diameter, outer diameter, wall variation, surface condition and the final coil or cut format must be considered together. ARKPM develops custom tubing extrusion equipment from this brief, including resin-specific preparation and the proposed downstream arrangement. PE or PP grades are reviewed with their processing data; TPU requires its own grade-specific assessment. The offer is machinery for producing tubing. Industrial end-use requirements and trial measurements are agreed for the project, while regulated applications need a separate qualification scope.

Applications to discuss

  • Defined industrial tubing products
  • Flexible tubing for specified handling conditions
  • Custom bore and wall configurations subject to validation
All configurations are reviewed against a defined material and product specification.
CONFIGURATION

The building blocks
of your line.

01

Preparation and extrusion

Review the exact resin and masterbatch grades, storage condition and supplier processing guidance. Where drying is needed, the proposal should address preparation and transfer to the feed point as connected tasks.

02

Tubing formation and cooling

Discuss tooling, sizing and cooling around the specified bore and wall. The suitable route depends on the material and product geometry; one calibration method should not be assumed for every tubing grade.

03

Take-up and collection

Coordinate pulling with cutting or coiling. Define allowable deformation, coil format and handling marks so a dimensionally acceptable tube is not compromised when it leaves the cooling stage.

Prepare the selected resin

Drying requirements depend on the resin grade and its supplier guidance. Discuss preparation, storage, loading and the connection to the extruder before specifying the equipment. Hopper and preparation arrangements can be customized around the selected material and the conditions within your production area.

Make operation easy to follow

Tubing production requires a clear relationship between extrusion and downstream handling. Discuss the information operators need, adjustment access and the sequence for starting or changing a run. The operator interface and control scope can be customized around the equipment included in your tubing line.

PROCESS THINKING

A considered route
through the process.

01

Write the product definition

Supply inner and outer diameters, wall expectations and the measurement method. Include the required surface condition and final delivery format, together with a clear description of the intended industrial use.

02

Review material-specific needs

Use the selected grade data and sample information to discuss preparation and processing. A family name such as TPU does not establish the drying conditions or behavior of every available formulation.

03

Assess finished tubing

Agree inspection after the defined cooling and conditioning interval. Check the supplied format as well as straight samples, and record process conditions so the trial result can be interpreted consistently.

PROJECT SPECIFICATION

The parameters we define together.

These are project inputs and configuration decisions. Performance is agreed against the material and product specification.

ParameterWhat to define
Tubing dimensionsSupply inner and outer diameter, wall requirements and tolerances. Identify the feature that controls acceptance and the agreed inspection conditions.
Exact resin gradeProvide grade data, additives, storage conditions and processing guidance. Any TPU or other moisture-sensitive grade needs its own preparation review.
Sizing and coolingReview tooling and the cooling route around material behavior and tube geometry. Specify available water conditions and where dimensions will be measured.
Take-up and delivery formatDefine cut lengths or coil dimensions, allowable deformation and surface-contact requirements. Coordinate pulling, cooling and collection as one handling process.
Production and controlsState the output target, product mix and operating-record needs. Identify measurement or control functions to include in the proposed line.
Use and validationDescribe the intended industrial application and required checks. Agree representative trial material, finished-tube inspection and any separate documentation or qualification responsibilities.
The offer covers industrial tubing-production equipment and its agreed downstream scope. Resin suitability, dimensions and take-up requirements are reviewed together; any regulated application needs a separate qualification brief.
CUSTOMIZATION

Made specific to your project.

Every ARKPM product family supports customization. These are the decisions that give the configuration its purpose.

Dimensional priorities

Identify whether bore, outer diameter, wall uniformity or another feature controls acceptance. Measurement options and process adjustments can then be discussed around the actual priority rather than an undefined precision target.

Surface and take-up format

Discuss the contact surfaces, cut requirements and coil handling that suit the product. The proposed equipment should distinguish required functions from optional features and equipment already available at your site.

Controls and documentation

Define the recipe, inspection and operating-record needs for your production workflow. Any additional documentation or qualification expectations must be included in the project scope and reviewed separately before agreement.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS LINE

Before you choose
a configuration.

Is this a medical tubing line?

No medical qualification is implied by this product page. A regulated application needs a separately reviewed material, equipment, documentation and validation scope, including the buyer's applicable product requirements.

Can TPU and PE use identical settings?

No universal settings should be assumed. The exact grades and product dimensions determine preparation and processing needs. Follow supplier guidance and agree the operating window through project-specific evaluation.

Can tubing be coiled immediately?

That depends on its condition and dimensional stability at take-up. Cooling, tension, coil size and packing method must be coordinated and checked against the finished-tubing requirements.

What information is needed for a tubing-line quotation?

Send inner and outer dimensions, wall priorities, resin grade data and the intended industrial use. Add the required coil or cut format, target output and site utilities. These details let the proposal connect tubing formation with cooling and take-up.

Why can two tubing lines with the same diameter have different costs?

They may require different material preparation, tooling, measurement, cooling or collection functions. Wall requirements, surface handling and the product mix also affect the configuration. Compare the complete supply scope and acceptance basis before comparing the headline price.
